The J. Neely Johnson House is an 1853 Greek Revival residence owned by several early California elected officials, notably, the youngest governor of California: thirty year old,  J. Neely Johnson  Now restored to its late 1800's appearance, the building has been sold and remodeled again to a more contemporary interior. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the House is Sacramento’s oldest surviving residence, having once been the home to several Early California elected officials, including a State Treasurer and Supreme Court Justice. The house is a fashionable mix of old style, and modern art and culture. It's the perfect setting for fashion, still life photography, portraits, and lifestyle photography.
